Lead: Brief description of why a C-VA.  Promote CFCG as an major C-VA priority

Community-Vision Action (C-VA) was formed to focus C-VP’s social enterprise agenda on political and civic activities. Working on causes that range from activism and advocacy within a single community to national progressive causes, we provide extensive expertise, connection, and know-how.

C-VA is proud to be working with the Center for Common Ground (CFCG). CFCG was founded in 2018 to educate and empower under-represented voters in voter suppression states to engage in elections and advocate for their right to vote. In 2021 alone, over 19 states have introduced legislation that makes voting more difficult, especially for people of color, especially in rural and low-wealth areas. We are ardent supporters of CFCG’s mission and work, and we are honored to work alongside them to defend our democracy.
